Recent night time sat imgry depicted clearing skies over much of the
region, w/ sfc obs indicating colder and drier filtering into the
Natural State.

Sun and thru at least mid-week, Wrn US H500 ridging wl amplify, w/
NWrly flow persisting over the Cntrl US. As such, sfc high pressure
wl remain rooted over the Cntrl US, promoting settled and drier
weather condns, and temperatures returning to more seasonal values
acrs the FA.

By mid-week and thru the end of the PD, the aforementioned ridging
is progged to weaken, w/ mean troughing returning over the Wrn to
Cntrl US, as advertised by latest EPS/GEFS solns. Low-lvl Srly flow
looks to resume w/ temps warming and sfc moisture incrsg, signaling
a return of unsettled weather to the Srn Cntrl US. As of now,
greater confidence of higher Chc PoPs is favored towards the end of
the week and into next weekend.
